The memorial day weekend was celebrated with a parade and visiting with family.

This morning we enjoyed a nature walk. Everything is green and blooming. The kids were noticing bugs and birds everywhere, stopping so they could record them in the nature journals.

I'd say summer break is off to a pretty good start. :)
