Grocery Day!
(or How to Feed a Larger Family)
This morning we picked up groceries from our natural food co-op. We came home with 12 boxes of breakfast cereal, 12 bags of Pretzels, 5 pounds of Cheese, 8 loaves of bread, 12 cans of beans, 6 cans of tomatoes, 8 lbs of turkey, 6 boxes of crackers, 3 cartons of yogurt and two boxes of dishwashing tablets- and even more that I'm forgetting right now. This was actually a smaller than usual order (last month for example I got 36 boxes of cereal!) All of the food we get there is either organic and/or all natural. I love our co-op! We get great healthy food at good prices and I don't have to make a zillion trips to the grocery store each week. (Although I do still stop at the grocery store occasionaly for a few odds and ends as well as fresh produce and of course, at least 6 gallons of Milk each week.)

The kids love to help unload the big truck as well as helping to fill our order.I hope I can make it all last until next month!

Wow..that would be great to have that much food at one time, plus know that it is so healthy for you!!! Do you have trouble finding the space to store it?
