The holidays are over and so is our winter break from school. The kids complained a bit about starting up again but I can tell they're relieved in a way too. Long breaks get boring after awhile. And with both of our cars being in the shop at the same time (what luck, right?) we're stuck at home anyway. Here's some bits and pieces from today as we get back into the swing of things:

Critical Thinking

working hard at learning to read

The Basics of Quantum Physics- he was reading this during his free time. What am I gonna do with this kid?

The 3 yr old took advantage of her own free time to pad the hallway with pillows. :-)

Then it was time to go outside and play! This was Babybird's first time playing in the snow and I'd say he had a pretty good time!

We are getting back on schedule here too. We took off Monday to take all of our Christmas stuff down and put new stuff away, as well as clean the house. Now, we are off today for Madison's birthday, so we are going to have to cram a whole week into three days. I try not to do that, but sometimes you just do what you have to do, right? Life gets in the way sometimes!

Welcome back to homeschooling. :)

The kids and I started Monday and we are off tomorrow, Eli has an Endo appointment. *sigh - joy of joyness - NOT*

I was so ready to get back to school. My kids were bored and needed that normal schedule.
