We've been going through some changes here the last few weeks. The biggest one is that I got a job! It's been years since I have worked outside the home so it is quite an adjustment for me and for the whole family. I'm working in a field I love so that makes me happy, but it is hard to be away from the kids. But I think that overall it is a good thing for us right now. And the kids are getting some extra time with their grandparents so that is good too.
This week was our Co-op summer picnic. The kids really look forward to this. They really miss their co-op friends over the summer break so this gives us a chance to have everyone get together again.
We've only been on summer break for a short time, but not only have they been missing their school friends they are obviously missing their schoolwork too. They took out the workbooks
today for some school time. It took me by surprise, but hey I'm not going to stop them. :-)

Wow, congrats on the new job! I worked part time for 2 years when I first started homeschooling my girls and it sure was rough on me. I admire you for taking on such a task. Good luck with everything.
I enjoyed hearing about your kiddos still wanting to have their lessons during the summer. Such cute photos. :0)
Mine never ask for school work during the summer! Of course, they continue to read and learn through things that we do!
Congrats on your job. Is it just a summer job, or will you continue to work after the summer?
