My oldest is an 8th grade Homeschool Graduate! We are very proud of him. He worked hard for his diploma and is now preparing to leave the homeschool world behind and go off to the public high school. He applied for the Freshman Honors classes through a series of tests and written essays and was approved for all of them. Tonight, he has to attend a meeting at the high school to receive his summer homework. Summer homework! That was a surprise, but I'm sure he won't mind it. He's more than accustomed to doing schoolwork at home. I'm sure it will all work out just fine. Congrats to my oldest child- first graduate of our family homeschool!
