The first big snowfall of the season fell last night. The kids couldn't have been more excited and were asking me if they could go outside to play at 7:00 this morning. But we had to get breakfast, schoolwork, and morning chores out of the way first. They got everything done in record time and were out making snow angels and snow forts by 10:00 a.m. They came in for lunch and hot tea then we took a trip to the library for storytime and books. I have to say that this small town looks very pretty after a fresh snow. I wish I had my camera while we were out driving. As soon as we came back home, the kids headed right back out for the sledding hill until dinnertime.
